Izakaya Akatsuki is a Japanese-inspired oasis in Torrance, offering guests an incredible izakaya experience. Our menu features daily fresh-made udon and soba, as well as a wide variety of other Japanese tapas dishes. Here, you can find various Japanese izakaya dishes, including Karaage(Japanese fried chicken), Takoyaki, and California Rolls. Our restaurant not only serves popular izakaya dishes but also has some unique house specialties, including spicy crispy agedashi tofu and beef tongue with green onion ponzu sauce. If you’re in the mood for hot pot, we have a selection to choose from, including our Akatsuki house special with meatballs, pork belly slices, and veggies. Additionally, we offer a vegan-friendly hot pot option with yuzu soy sauce.

We also have a selection of sake, shochu, Japanese beer, and cocktails to help you take your party to the next level!

We understand the need for extra privacy, which is why some of the booths feature actual curtains, while diners who opt for a full private experience in one of our shoji sliding doors rooms are more than welcome.
